Opex Consulting was jointly appointed by an NHS Trust and Project Company to deliver a full compliance and data integrity reset across a complex PFI healthcare estate. The project required complete restoration of asset and room data accuracy to meet both contractual and CoBP standards, following years of outdated documentation and inconsistent CAFM records.
Opex undertook comprehensive NRM3-aligned asset surveys covering M&E, Building Fabric, FF&E, Environmental conditions, and Medical Equipment. Using the CoBP traffic light framework, the team validated statutory and contractual compliance, completed room-level environmental checks, and rebuilt the Accommodation Schedule and CAFM system linkages.
The result was a complete and verified digital asset dataset that allowed stakeholders to restore contract compliance and confidence. By delivering independent, transparent outputs, Opex helped both parties re-establish a single, trusted version of estate information — supporting ongoing CoBP readiness and improved operational performance.
