OPEX was appointed by the SPV to undertake a convention centre audit review of the 2014 maintenance services market test that had been previously carried out on the 46,000m2 Dublin Convention Centre by a third party. This work, in conjunction with the Irish government, included a detailed review of that had been process undertaken, the documentation used, and market feedback with all suppliers engaged in the process from PQQ to PB stage.
In this process, Opex identified any risks and reported on our findings from the convention centre audit review, advising the CCD on what steps they needed to take in order to restore a risk/ reward balance on this project. This included providing a detailed conclusion of recommended processes and programmes and contract risk minimisation procedures to put in place, along with a thorough action plan for the client’s future reference.
