Opex was commissioned by SGP Property and Facilities Management in July 2010 to produce a Hospital FM Benchmarking review of their hard and soft FM services to fulfil contractual benchmarking requirements for Dundee Carseview Mental Health Hospital. Opex was also asked, where needed, to make recommendations of contractors that would be able to satisfy those FM requirements.
The overall purpose of the benchmarking review was to produce benchmark cost data for JSG (Johnson Service Group) to satisfy SPC’s project agreement with them along with also satisfying the FM services agreement made with the Tayside Primary Care National Health Service trust. This process also contributed to the best value requirements and followed guidance from the Treasury For PFI Benchmarking, Published in October 2006 (The most recent guidance published at the time.)
Opex carried out the project successfully and produced a highly detailed report, advising the clients on any forward actions that needed to be taken to fulfil their contractual needs.
