Opex was asked to provide University Mobilisation Services for Pinnacle PSG’s recently awarded contract for FM services at the University of Hertfordshire (UoH) Dehavilland Campus.
The project involves the operation of 1,600 units of en-suite student accommodation together with extensive sports facilities. The sports facilities include – a 25-metre eight-lane swimming pool, the main sports hall with 12 badminton courts, an ancillary sports hall with four-lane indoor cricket, two squash courts, a fitness centre. In addition, there is a refectory with seating for up to 500. The project also includes sports pitches, including a full-size multi-purpose artificial turf pitch, training areas and hard courts.
Opex was chosen specifically for the university mobilisation services for its knowledge of both the student accommodation operational management model/market as well as Opex’s relationship with both the University and ProjectCo.
